I'm 46 with Hashimoto's (autoimmune thyroid disease), but no menopause symptoms yet. May I ask what to expect?
MFP has two thyroid groups:

According to a recent blood test, I have transitioned through meopause. I've been diagnosed with hypothryroidism since my mid-thirties, and will be 50 next month. I still have some hot flashes. I take synthroid 25 mg as prescribed daily for my thyroid. Stopping caffine has helped the hot flashes. Committment and hard work and settling into a new transition at this phase of my life (caring for ailing parents) has resulted in weight loss, feeling better all around in the last weeks.0
