Excercise calories

Hello everyone,
I am aware that MFP creates a deficit for you already so calories burned from cardio can be eaten back. My question is: should I be eating my strength exercise calories back? I usually do an hour or more per session. Thanks!

I do, especially after lifting, you need to recover.0

Everybody's different, so it will take trial & error to find what works for you. Eat them back for several weeks, then reevaluate. The burns are estimates, so some people reduce the margin of error by eating back half their exercise calories.

I don't "trust" calories burned from strength training, so I tend not to eat those back, just enough to help me recover after a session (lots of protein, etc.). I do eat back most of my cardio calories though..0
