Preventative Measures

My name is Danielle and I am 19. In the past year I gained about 25 pounds due to my new anti-anxiety medication (and the freshman 15). Being overweight runs in my family, and I have always thought myself lucky that I didn't have that problem. Now, however, I am starting to gain weight and I'm scared. My mom is very overweight and she keeps warning me to not end up looking like her. I am trying this program in hopes I will become more aware of what I am putting into my body. I feel like I am kinda going at this alone. My family doesn't want to join me at the gym or in eating better. I could really use some support.

Best wishes! Your family may change their mind as they see your success. You could be a role model for them. You can do this! You are young and don't have a lot to lose. Better to nip it in the bud now
. You can friend me if you like.
