Cravings

Everyone gets cravings.
What are your cravings?! How often do you eat them. And how do you over come the cravings?!
My cravings are chocolate digestive biscuits and chocolate hob knobs. Once I eat one the whole pack is finished :P!
I've never actually overcome the craving. So any tips would be nice
Another thing is crisps(chips for you americans !), I control the craving by eating rice cakes with cottage cheese!

Two worst cravings of mine - chocolate at work and a late night snack.
I curb eating chocolate at work by chewing some gum, I know some people say its not the best, but it really stops me from being hungry and after a bit I dont want to chew on anything.
I struggle with the snack before bed, but my best way to avoid it is to brush my teeth right after dinner and use a flouride rinse where you're not supposed to eat anything after for a half hour!0 -

I chew gum right after my meal. For some reason, this really helps with the feeling that I "need" to keep eating. Plus, it's good to do for your teeth.0 -

Latey, when all the junk (think many many boxes of little debbie snack cakes) have been showing up in the break room and I "want one" (even though I wasn't even hungry until I saw the box), I come back to my desk and drink a bunch of water. I keep my measured hot cocoa mix nearby, in case of emergency - but it often does not come to that.
That said, today we ordered pizza at work. I researched the nutrition information online and since I LOOOOVE pizza, decided to have one slice instead of the healthy choice frozen lunch. I still ate my yogurt and grapes. It worked out okay. I forced myself to cut the pizza with a fork and knife and eat it slowly. And I think I'll be okay. That said, next time I am holding out for something better then Black Jack Pizza ...0 -
I continue to eat healthy & not react on my cravings monday thru thursday if i did really well on eating I reward myself to whatever i craved the most during the week...0

My biggest cravings are anything that is fried. I love french fries, vegetable tempura, fried fish.....they all get me. I could eat an endless amount of french fries without fault. They're so high in calories and fat, but i love them so much! What I do to avoid these cravings is to just avoid the food altogether! I don't think I have another choice. If I really feel like I need something fried though, I'll probably end up fitting in a small fry from a fast food restaurant to my calorie count. Only when I feel like I'll die without them though! haha0

Ooh chocolate hobnobs = yum!
Mostly I get cravings for chocolate. I try and eat a piece of dark chocolate or drink a lowcal hot chocolate, it seems to work most of the time.0 -
I had a craving for chocolate digestives. And ate a Nature Valley bar instead...it worked. It has the oaty biscuit feeling !
I guess it's better than eating a whole pack of biscuits!0
