What to eat with Lobster other than butter?

Hello All,
Would love some advice on what to eat with lobster other than butter. Going to a party tomorrow night with lobster and steamers as the main course. I have always eaten my lobster with butter and I see where that has gotten me. If anyone has some suggestions that would be great! I still can't do the eat it plain option.

My only other suggestion is Lobster Mac and Cheese (mmm!) but not sure that is the direction you are looking to go in :laugh:

i would just stick to the butter, unless your having lobster every other night. nothing compares to lobster in garlic butter0

Lobster with butter occasionally did not get you where you are, it happened overtime. Maybe use less butter instead of cutting it out?0 -
Try it without butter.... it is such a sweet and delicate meat - it really doesn't need anything!

This. Just the flavor of the meat is enough for me. The same goes for corn on the cob, get the salt and butter away from that singularly perfect flavor.
Note: I love butter on many other things, just not lobster or corn on the cob.0 -

Maybe just try to not use AS MUCH butter. In all honesty though it won't hurt you to eat butter as long as you don't make it a habit to eat gobs of delicious melted garlic butter.
This whole thing is about balance, if you deprive yourself too much you may find yourself not sticking to this and the whole idea is to find a plan you can stick to permanently.

Ghee? Jk...if you are trying to keep the calories low the only things I can think of are lemon juice and maybe cocktail sauce? It would depend on how the sauce was made to know if it would be a lower calorie choice though...0

Unless you're eating butter drenched lobster everyday, this should be an indulgence that you just enjoy. We all need those.
Cut back on other things. No potatoes, rolls, buttery rice, cheese etc for this meal. EXTRA lobster and butter.

Lemon. Although nothing is good too. If you really like the butter, though, have some. One meal with butter isn't going to derail your whole journey!0

1. Do all the work upfront so you have a big plate of lobster.
2. Squeezy squeeze some lemon over the pile of lobster.
3. Drizzle some butter over all that lovely lobster.
4. Do the lobster dance!
Seriously, set aside 200 cals for 2 Tblspns of butter and enjoy. Eat other things besides just lobster. Move more today and tomorrow. Eat less tomorrow. Just enjoy the day.
