Mini bike peddler?

I've seen mini bike peddlers online for under $50. Something like this:

Is it worth it? Can it help me lose weight?

A calorie deficit will help you lose weight. Exercise can make a calorie deficit easier by burning extra calories. In general exercise is also good for you (heart, lungs, muscles, blood pressure, etc). I don't think a mini peddler would burn many calories nor have much in the way of health benefits.
  • Do you have a physical disability or mobility issue that would keep you from doing more rigorous exercise?
Nope. I love biking but can't afford a home stationary bike, and sometimes the weather's too bad, i can't make it to the gym, etc. I figured if I was laying around anyway, this is a good way to burn some calories, and for cheap.
    Just toying with the idea.
  • I have a mini exercise bike, I think they are brilliant and. So easy to use whilst you watch tv.
I burn upto 1,500 calories per day on mine but I do use it for a few hours a time :-)
Planning to go back to the gym once I've lost more weight.
