Running shoes

I am in need of new shoes for the gym I use the treadmill and elypticals mainly and some strength training can I get good shoes at say kohls or is it best to go to a running shoe store? I am experiencing heel pain in both feet right now.

    Running shoe store, and have them fit you. Especially since you already have foot pain.

    I think you will totally find it worth going to a good running store to be properly fitted. It can make a world of difference!

    Absolutely not.

    A running store isnt essential but it can be helpful if you dont know what kind of shoe you need. Ask 100 people on here, you wll get 95 diff recommendations.

    Once you find the make and model that is best for you then you can look around online for the best prices.

    The makers have low end shoes they sell at many places like Kohls, shoe show, walmart, etc. They are just mean to look ok and bought for appearance and not really for training for the most part.
