Yesterday's net calories have changed?

Am I going nuts, or is it possible my net calories for yesterday changed overnight?

I usually check the site before I go to bed to make sure I logged everything, and I am almost always within 50 calories or less of my goal. But when I just looked back over the last week, my net calories were more like 100 cals (or more) over goal every day.

I did sync my account with my Fitbit, might it have something to do with it?

MFP has a Fitbit Users group: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/1307-fitbit-users

Your Fitbit burn is your TDEE—way more accurate than any online calculator. Your Fitbit calorie adjustment is your Fitbit burn minus your activity level.

Set your activity level to sedentary: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/change_goals_guided

    Enable negative calorie adjustments: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings

And disable Fitbit's calorie estimation: http://www.fitbit.com/user/profile/edit

Fitbit will continuously update your daily calories. Assuming you last checked your diary yesterday before midnight, it's normal to expect a change. Because you were probably not very active late at night, your actual calorie output was lower that what Fitbit anticipated when you last checked.

Thank you both, that makes sense!

Also, make sure that both your Fitbit and MFP are set to the same timezone. I had the same problem as you and it was driving me nuts - even though at the end of the day I was still within my calories, it would show that I was over (sometimes by a good bit) when I looked back the next day. Turned out that my Fitbit was three hours ahead of my MFP time.

Oh wow! Thanks for this. I need to figure out how to do this because I just "solved" the problem by disconnecting the two. It was irritating the crap out of me to see everything different the next morning.

Did you weigh in? Because MFP will adjust calorie intake once you change your weight.
