Dark and Creative, or Just Plain Creepy ?

Myself and a lot of my friends are singer / songwriters, and we share lyrics with each other a lot. I read this to them and they said it was creepy... but I thought it was dark, yet very creative. Thoughts ?

all of these thoughts
twisting and turning
swirling and twirling.
These thoughts aren't my own,
and they are very loud.

My mind is racing like a speeding bullet
these thoughts I fear can not be stopped
Thoughts that are there whenever I think
but I am constantly thinking
constantly worrying
Will I ever be good enough
for my own high expectations?
