Pre-Purchasing "Rewards" - Running Clothes Shopping!

Does anyone else preemptively buy rewards as motivation to keep working on their health and fitness goals?
I'm *almost* (not quite) halfway to my goal weight. Something that really motivated me during the first bits of this transition was a pair of jeans that I had picked up at our local thrift outlet that was 4 sizes smaller than my favorite pair at my heaviest. Every 5 or so pounds I would throw them on and see exactly how much closer I was to buttoning them. It was great motivation.
Guess what? Those "dream pants" are now integrated into my normal rotation of office wear :-). They are still a little snug, but it's nice to be wearing a reminder that hard work really does pay off.
Currently am NOT eating all of the tacos to satisfy irrational cravings whilst rocking the dream pants!! Bonus!
One of the visualizations that keep me running strong on the trails is picturing myself in one of those cutesy running bras and comfortable little shorts that hug the body without causing all of that unnecessary inner thigh chafing. I really want to go out and get a SUPER FLY running outfit, but I have no idea where to get one from.
Where do you hot running chicks pick up functional running kit that still brings all of the hotness? Help me out :-)!

I buy jeans one size down from my current size. Every 10 pounds I try on the new ones until they fit right and then I buy my next size down.0

Awesome job so far AvonBell! You're almost there to another pair of goal pants!0

Every running outfit that is not oversize brings out the hotness! This said, be aware that inner thigh chafing may be an issue even at a very healthy weigh. If you still want the cute shorts (aka bun huggers), then Body Glide will be your best friend. Have fun shopping for cute running outfits!0
