it's my first day & i ate too few calories

I decided to join tonight based on some blog comments from a number of ladies who were successful using this site. I am super excited to get started and put in my food for today....I ate 1012 calories so far today and the site told me i ate too few calories. I think its a matter of making better choices.

    Let me say that when i first started, i either ate to many or way to less! You will eventually learn, whats good and what is bad. It just takes time.

  • I did the same thing - it's like I was so overenthusiastic about joining that I ended up eating too little! Actually, I went through about a week or two of that before my "normal" eating habits resumed. Just don't overstuff yourself to meet your goal number, and don't get so caught up in dieting that you binge later (we're all been there).

  • Michelle is correct...you're going to have days where you go over (just try to limit them!!) and some days when you are under.

    I started writing out on a calendar the meals that I planned to eat that week. This allows me to better track my calories and after awhile you will learn what meals can be put together.
