I have been advised by my Dr. to have far more fruit and veg in my diet.
When I enter the fruits and veg in MFP it takes my Carbs and Sugars sky high.
Has anyone any advice as to how I keep my healthy fruit and veg diet but manage to keep MFP happy too please.
Thank you in advance for any advice, I am growing a little despondent at the moment.

dont track sugar (if MFP differentiated between added and natural it'd sort of make sence to track it, but it doesnt so dont), and going over on carbs isnt a big deal. if you dont like seeing red just change your diary settings

either that or find other items to cut back on that increase carbs, such as pasta and rice

Like BigT said, don't worry about the "sugar" number.

Are you trying to eat a low carb diet? If you're not trying to stick to a "keto" or Atkins regime, then there's nothing wrong with the carbs in fruit and vegies. Unfortunately fruits and vegetables are about 80-90% carbohydrates. But they're so chock full of vitamins and fiber that they are really essential to overall health.

Thank you so much for your help.
I sort of wondered if this was the case as I KNOW that fruit and veg is supposed to be good for us and they contain natural sugars.
I am just going for a low calorie diet so I am on the right tracks, I will have a look at changing settings as suggested.
    Thanks again for advice.
