Body Pump Vs NROLFT Nutrition

I have read the New Rules of Lifting for Women and am following the nutrtion plan but instead of the work out plan in the book I am doing a Les Mills Body Pump sessions that change every two weeks. I guess the question I am asking is since I know the fitness plans are different but both require lifting heavy ( to the point my legs are shaking) can I still expect the same results while folowing the daily recomended calories intake as New Rules of Lifting for Women suggest?
I do the body pump every other day and on my off days I do some sort of cardio mostly running or biking.
Another questions is do I eat the same recomended calories on my cardio days since it is considered a active work out day.... or do I eat the carlories recomented on a rest day?
My goal is tostart out maintaining my weight, build muscle, and lose inches.
Any advice is welcome! Thanks

I am curious about this also. My instinct is that the Body Pump class is more cardio-oriented. I love the classes though!0

thank you for the threads!!! there are some many different opinions on wether it builds muscle or just 'tones"!
I feel like im building muscle though. I might take body fat percentage each month to see if there is a change.0
