Every time I see progress I quit on myself. Idk why I do it I just do. Seems like life gets in the way. I have tried everything from A to Z and I see results lose about 10#s and give up. Then it is harder each time to go back. Does any one else feel this way? Any tips??

I've had the same experience till one day I had a doctors appointment and the doc advised this up and down weight is not good for the heart. You put to much stress on the heart so I changed my eating habits and quit drinking sodas, beer and all the juices to water and lost 116lbs. It's a lifestyle change not a temporary fix. It can next Done you just have to have that discipline and inner motivation.0

This time losing weight, I decided to do it for 100 days. I only weighed myself every 10 days, but promised myself I would give it a solid 100 days. I printed out a calendar, highlighed every 10th day and calculated what I hoped to lose at each interval. I lost at only half the rate I wanted to, but I was losing. By day 100, I looked back at day 1 and realized, if I hadn't started day 1, I wouldn't have the progress I have now.
Then I started over another 100 days. I am on day 198. I still am losing at half the rate I wanted to, but had I not started 198 days ago, I would not be where I am -20lbs and 2 sizes in clothing.
I also took pictures and measurements, and looked up pics of what I want to look like. Half way through this I decided I really wanted to shoot for a body fat %, not a scale number. I started at 42% BF, now am at 32%. I am shooting for 22%. 1/2 way there.
Now, ask me if I want to give up when I am halfway there? No Way! Another 100 days is on my horizon, and I can't wait to see the progress I've made in October.
Cliff Notes: It truly is a marathon, not a sprint.0 -
Thank u both! I love the 100 day idea. As I tell myself often, I can do anything for 30 days. But recently I have stopped telling my self that! I am going to do the calender thing thank you!
