trying to lose weight

Hi, How are you?

I am trying to lose 2 stone but the weight keep finding me, I am getting married in 8 weeks and need to fit into my wedding dress

i did lose some weight but i stopped going gym because i was ill, i have returned back to the gym this week, it really hard for me to lose weight, i have changed my diet many time, stay fit my going to the gym 6 days a week, do cardio and weight. but i don't know what i am doing wrong

i weight 128 ibs at the moment and am 5 '4

next week i will start going to aerobics dance, zumba and spinning classes

    You mention everything except for the important stuff: your calories.

    Are you tracking your food? Including things like cooking oils, cheat meals, condiments, veggies, etc?

    Would you be comfortable opening your diary so that we can look?

    Are you eating back any of your earned exercise calories? if so, what method are you using to estimate your burn (HRM, MFP estimates, gym machine readouts, etc)?

    How long have you been at this and how long has it been since you last saw a drop on the scale?

    I wear a heart rate monitor when I workout so I know how many calories I burn.
    Also, make sure you are eating enough calories so your body doesn't think it's starving and hold onto the weight.

    i am tracking my calories, my diary should be open now :-)

    i use cooking oil in curry

    i sometime tend to eat back my earned exercise calorie, I started last year in november, i have been losing weight and
    i weight myself today lost 1 pound and i read the gym readout

    i think i will be better getting a heart rate monitor, that way i can track my calories better
  • Whew SARA, I bet you get tired of someone who has not walked a mile in your shoes and lived your life, especially now when you have out right said you have lost weight before, telling you are doing it all wrong.. that you are not measuring,, you are not working hard enough, you're not keeping track, your ratios are blah blah blah blah..Your calories are in this state of confusion..You are sneaking food and you are not telling us the truth.

    If you are calorie counter and have had results..YEAH. am so with you..thats great your road has come to an end..But I know with 1000 % certainty very few are really where they want to be without a barbarian at the gate war fare with their body...or are just true slaves to the process..
