Ok,I am looking to buy some trainers. Now first thing I have weak ankles and recently had ligament reconstruction on the right.Consultants are looking to do the left within few years.I am nearly 6 months post op and consultant and physio are happy for me to return to exercise BUT be careful and listen to my body.I am not allowed to jog or run but can go walking, use cross trainer and cycling. So I need some trainers suitable for those activities whilst providing cushioning and stability.Thank you in advance

i really love my nike crosstrainers 3.0. Super comfortable, fit like a glove, and plenty of 360degree support0

I would go to a running store and get fitted. I know you said you can't run, but they can usually help you find the best type of support for the way you walk (my ankles used to cave in during walking). They should also have the biggest selection for you to try on. Everyone's feet are very different and what feels good for one person doesn't feel good to another.0
