ways to not think about your weight?

when im trying to lose weight if i think about my weight i get discouraged about my weight and give up. what do you do so you dont get discouraged?

I don't focus on my weight but more setting small goals that will achieve weight loss. For example I target to run 100 miles this month total which will keep me focus on carb-up on some days but keep protein high to not lose too much muscle. I set a goal of dropping couple inches around the waist. I keep setting small goals to keep me going in the right direction0

OMG! This is me, ALL THE WAY. Today I felt so fat while I was out and about, and I started feeling down and dreading the whole process. And when I get sad over my weight, I EAT LIKE A COW! I have issues with binge eating, so my sadness over my weight is actually one of the MAIN things that trigger me to binge. Then afterwards, I'm left feeling worthless and weak, and I'm that much further from seeing progress. Smdh
What works for me is buying things. LOL! I always get super excited when I get something new. Especially if it's something to wear. I like to polish my nails and design them, do my hair, get new makeup, etc. (Though I can't afford to do that now) I even watch youtube to find new looks to try out. Looking good (even if I am big) really helps my confidence, and makes it less likely for me to want to stuff my face, in order to feed my "emotional hunger".
Staying busy is key for many. Tire yourself out. LOL! Exercise as much as possible, go and enjoy life, work as a volunteer, play The Sims 3, (I'm a gamer) try out some different things. You may end up finding a new hobby. But as I said before, you can't go wrong with getting PLENTY of exercise. And after you've worn yourself out, take a nice hot bubble bath or shower, and call it a night. Get those 8 hours of sleep in. Whatever you do, stay as busy as possible! I'm trying to do this myself. I just wish I didn't have those days when I feel bad about my size.0
