Heart Rate Monitors

Hi, everyone!
I love myfitnesspal, but I feel as if the calories for exercise is off by a lot, telling me I've burned way more than I have. I've decided that I want a more accurate way to tell how many calories I've burned, so I was wondering if any of you know any good heart rate monitors? Which kind do you recommend?
Thanks for the help

I use a Polar FT4. It was inexpensive, easy to use, and it's comfortable.0

Same, I love my Polar FT40 -
If a HRM is more accurate really depends on what activities you do. For steady state cardio like running with smooth effort transitions, they are relatively good. For interval training, yoga, weight lifting, dance, workout videos, etc ... they aren't as accurate because there is no established relationship between heart rate, VO2 max, effort, and caloric burn.0

Suunto Quest. Works. Does a decent job of predicting calorie burn (in my experience) if it is set up correctly and you are using it to measure cardio; no heart rate monitor is really good at predicting calorie burn during weight lifting or non-aerobic exercise (IME).
Can add on GPS and running pods to track distance, speed, etc. Not too big or ugly.
Also... do a search on HRMs in the forums and you will find a bunch of threads with suggestions.0
