The chili I make in my crock pot isnt too bad calories wise and usually can doa cup of it with a slice of butter bread.
Its just ground turkey, can pinto beans, can red beans, can black beans, can tomoto paste and sauce, can of chili ready tomatoes, 30 percent low sodium chili seasoning packet and sometimes I throw in half a bag of frozen mixed veggies to hide from my son to get him to eat some veggies. its good for a basic chili.0 -
Slow-Cooker Salsa Chicken
4 chicken breasts (leave whole or cut into small pieces depending on how you are serving)
1 cup salsa
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1 can reduced fat cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup reduced fat sour cream
Place chicken on bottom of slow cooker. Sprinkle with taco seasoning. Add salsa and soup. Cook 6 - 8 hours on low. Stir in sour cream and serve.
I added veggies as well to this recipe such as green and red peppers and onion. Serve over brown rice or whole wheat egg noodles. Left overs make great enchiladas!

I was JUST looking into this as I bought the Biggest Loser Family Cookbook (and am LOVING it and learning to cook delicious and low cal meals and it is helping my weight loss incredibly! 5lbs loss in 2 days this week!. . . of course, that's with exercise AND fibre pills - lol!!)
so here's a site i foiund with recipes from the biggest loser diet plan and you can choose crock pot of meals or appetizers etc. pretty pumped to start my way through this site!

Chicken Taco Soup
Cook in the crockpot 6-8 hours on low, after cooking, take the chicken out, shred and return to the mixture.
1lb chicken
1 packet taco seasoning
1 can chopped green chilies
1 cup chopped onion
1 can of corn
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can vegetarian baked beans
1 can black beans
1 can kidney beans
1 can pinto beans
12-- 1 cup servings
cal 167 carbs 30 fat 1 protein 90 -
