Finally making a commitment

Hey guys! So for the past couple of years I've been struggling with my weight. I'm 5"6 and 173 lbs. I've always been a heavier set but then I grew into my weight. Yet I'm still overweight and uncomfortable in my skin. I had another account last year and ended up going from 176 to 157 lbs! I was happier than ever! But I still wanted to lose more weight and after going through complications in life I gained all the weight back plus another 5 pounds! I've decided to take it slow and steady and I lost about 7 pounds in the last month. My ultimate goal is to reach 152 lbs as soon as possible. Lord willing I'll reach it and keep it off!
So anyways I was wondering if any of you guys have tips or tricks? I'd love to hear about your journey whether you just started or are currently living it out! Also I'd like to build up some friends because I've seen it helps a lot with encouragement! I never went public until now so yeah! Thanks for taking the time to read and don't be shy to drop a comment!

Set your goal to .5 lb. per week. Log everything you eat & drink accurately & honestly.
