I have not consistently used that product. You would have to adhere to a regimen of taking it to give it a fair trial. If you can't do the regimen, it won't work (same goes for diet/exercise).
I have used hoodia before. I thought that was very helpful for suppressing appetite. The key was (a regimen, of course) to take it BEFORE i got hungry, so in between meals. I realize garcinia may have different effects, but I just stated this to illustrate that the herb only worked when I took it properly.
Try it and let us know!0 -

You were very lucky. Analyses of clinical trials say you're more likely to be ill than lose any weight.
All weight loss were short term and minimal anyway, so you're probably now wasting your time.0 -
Since most of us know that garcinia is just another fake weight loss pill. This would mean to lose 13 lbs in 2 weeks would be a daily deficit of 3250 calories. Is that even possible?0

I took it way back before people knew what it was, for 3 months and it made me lose weight....from pooping and chronic stomach pains....that stuff is as bad as the crap as it makes you do in the toilet!0

Oh my god. I have tears in my eyes from how all those quoted NOs look.
So funny.0 -

The OP didn't lose 13lbs of fat in two weeks. Probably most of what she lost was...water.0 -

I decided to try it out when I started on my "diet". It helped suppress the appetite as I had made the decision to change my eating habits abruptly.
Did the pills help me lose weight? Not at all.
Did the pills suppress my appetite? No doubt about it!
A few weeks in I started to cut back on the pills and I've just stopped taking them.
I feel the pills helped me stay on track for the first month or so because I wasn't craving food.
Will you have the same results? Probably not; but good luck to you!0 -
It does suppress my appetite.i don't notice any side effects right now.but tge pounds are dropping.0

You mean all the ones where everyone is acting like 5 year olds? Because I haven't seen one actual post noting any negative side effects.0 -
An actual response? Wow!!

Will you lose weight? No
Will it suppress appetite? Yes0 -

I've taking them now.....But I'm not having great results with them. My weight is the same, but I lost 1 1/2 inches off my waist in like 6 weeks. But My mom and my cousin has both taken Garcinia Cambogia as well.....and it worked for them. My mom lost 15 with no exercise in her month of taking those pills, My cousin has lost 32 pound with the pills...and that was with her cutting out whites (bread, pasta, potatoes, and rice) with exercise 3-4 times a week in her first month0

I'm not "hatin' bro"; I'm just stating the facts.0 -
I tried it along with my normal exercising (4-5x week),
The only thing it did is make me pee, CONSTANTLY.0 -

Is the weight loss due to the pills? Nope.
Do the pills help with weight loss due to it's ability to suppress your appetite? Absolutely!!
I think people are delusional if a pill will cause you to lose weight. But that was never my intention with the pill. I used it because I wanted it to suppress my appetite without feeling like I had just finished of a 100 ounce cup of coffee.
This pill fit the bill!0 -
haha I got to witness the parade of NO's before they disappeared. Go MFP editors! (it was slightly annoying)0

It never suppressed my appetite. Never.0

I just started it so haven't lost any weight yet, but haven't been hungry today so it is supressing my appetite. Also didn't mess with my sleep when I took it at dinner time yesterday.0
