Lemon Chicken Breast Soup

This is for those who are interested in a great tasting low calorie soup:


Swanson - Chicken Broth - 99% Fat Free, 16 cup

Chicken Breast - Boneless, Skinless, 8 oz.

Vegetable - Carrots, Baby-Cut, Peeled, 8 oz (85g)

Celery - Raw, 1.5 cup chopped

Onions - Raw, 2 cup, chopped

Realemon - Lemon Juice, 8 oz

Barilla - Orzo Pasta, 6 oz dry


Put chicken in broth in large pot, bring to boil. Remove chicken. Add chopped veggies, bring back to boil. Add lemon juice. Chop chicken into small pieces and add back into pot, bring back to boil. Add orzo, salt, pepper and 4 bay leaves and return to boiling. Then reduce to simmer for about 20 minutes. The longer it sits, the better it is. Enjoy!

    Thank you, I will substitute some of the broth with water and low sodium broth to reduce the sodium, but other than that, I like the variety of ingredients.
    I saved the recipe.
