I have a very unattractive belly fold(mothers apron(even though I haven't had a baby....), which I hate and I'm striving to get a nice flat tum. My concern is it is totally unobtainable!
Am I right?
if you too had this could you share pics of before and after/ explain. Thanks guys!

It basically comes down to what you max weight was vs. your end weight. If you lost a lot a weight it's likely you will have loose skin. If you are young there is a better chance for the skin to return to a normal state. If you were severely over weight, and are not young, then the only choice may be surgery.0

I'm not sure if I class as severely over weight, although I feel it haha.
I'm 5'6, 28yrs my start weight and largest ever was 208 I'm now 192 started jan with a 3 month break but weight didn't return.0 -
I have lose skin but its not as bad as I even began to imagine it would be
It is just something I deal with. I will tell you over the last 3 years of losing weight things are tightening up.
My chin was a big one for me but slowly and surely is going back. I still have weight to lose and am not close to my goal yet but based on how my body has changed to far I would say some of it will go back but it takes time. Strength training is a great way to help build muscles which can help with lose skin issues. Every persons skin is different so no one is going to be able to tell you what your body will do
I think most will agree some of it goes back overtime but depending on how much you have lost its possible some will not

My primary goal is to be healthy and fit. If I have loose skin when I hit that goal, I will cross that bridge when I get there.
Everyone's journey and body are different. I don't think there's a catch-all answer for you.0 -
I believe it takes 7 years for the surface of your skin to completely replace itself. So over time things should tighten up.0

Thanks guys.
I know there is no definitive answer, just need to know there is a hope I could get the bod I want if I try hard enough!
Getting healthy is the goal, getting the bod is the dream haha0 -

I can relate.0 -
Unfortunately its down to genetics - some people have massive fat loss and don't have loose skin (just look at the fat to fit transformations thread on bodybuilding.com). As far as i am aware all you can do is use body scrub, drink plenty of water and give it a long time0
