I usually have grab and go breakfasts...some combination of fruit, English muffin with jelly, cheese, yogurt, chocolate soy milk, animal crackers, or fiber bars. I usually just take a bunch of those things with me and then eat what I decide I am hungry for when I get to work0
-
usually oatmeal, but if i'm feeling froggy i'll make eggs and some turkey sausage0

Trader Joe Wheat Free Waffle (1)
Soy nut butter (1 tablespoon)
honey
black coffee
180 calories0 -
Fiber One oats and chocolate bar--almost every day with a small glass of milk. Yummmm!!!0
-
It all depends really. I try and vary it up a bit.
But the staples I have around are Thomas Light Whole-Grain English Muffins, Light Yogurts, Eggo Low-Fat Nutrigrain Waffles, Fiber One cereals, Kashi cereals, Egg-whites, low-fat cheese, Fiber One Bars, Oatmeal, etc etc.
This morning I had a toasted english muffin with 2 oz liquid egg whites cooked and 1/4 cup 2% cheddar cheese and sliced tomato. And a banana.0 -
Special k with a touch of splenda and milk.0

breakfast is by far my favorite meal!!! i go with protein shakes, fruit, eggs, hashbrowns, toast, turkey bacon, cottage cheese, anything that sounds good when I wake up!! (not all together haha) I love making breakfast, and luckily dont work until later so I have that opportunity!
love coffee too!!0 -
its my favorite meal too!:smooched:0
-
I'm the yogurt, english muffin with an egg white, or oatmeal kinda girl myself!0
-
i honestly hate eating breakfast. :noway: So far it has been my biggest obstical to overcome. I'm a basic cereal person now that i force myself to eat it every morning. A small muffin a cup of tea and a serving of fruit is okay too sometimes0
-
Ummmm... usually a banana, with peanut butter, and a glass of 2% milk.0
-
It varies..Kashi go lean crunch, scrambled eggs with whole wheat toast w/sf jelly, NPB on whole wheat bread with a banana sliced on top. Just couldn't do the oatmeal...
and always,ALWAYS coffee0 -
Well I like pancakes and waffles, egg mcmuffins, you know. But what I actually eat is fiber one some skim milk and a banana. That or oatmeal which is the biggest bang for your buck or I should say calorie consumption. If someone could come up with something great tasting with no calories they could get rich quick!0

steel cut oats with a scoop of chocolate whey powder and a tbsp of better 'n peanut butter :happy:0

I love Egg McMuffins too...I let myself have them sometimes...they are 300 calories, but they are satisfying...and I get them with a sugar free vanilla iced coffee...comes to 420 calories total for breakfast, which is a little bit more than I usually consume for breakfast alone, but then I just have some fruit or something light for my midmorning snack...I love that I can have anything I want as long as I allow enough calories for it! Nothing is off limits...the other day I had a Big Mac...yum!
And just as a side note...with that Big Mac, of course, I ordered the fries, but they weren't hot and I didn't eat all of them, not because I didn't want to...I decided that they weren't good enough to be worth the calories since they were cold...that's progress for me! I used to woof down the burger and fries regardless of what the quality was...now I am a bit pickier! Yay!0 -
I've become a fan of granola and plain yogart mixed mmmmmm mmmmmmmmm good!!!0

I love breakfast. Its my favorite meal of the day but I only have time to eat a bowl of cereal.0
-
Now I must add, I prefer an egg white (or egg beaters) omelett, turkey bacon, green peppers, mushroom, low fat shredded cheese and salsa hmmm hmmm good!!!0
-
I like any cold cereal (although I'm especially fond of the chocolate-y variety - mmm!) and 1% milk, with either a fruit or a glass of orange juice. If I'm feeling like cooking, though, I go for scrambled egg beaters and toast with Polaner's all-natural strawberry jam. Yum!0
-
A full Irish breakfast :noway:
But what I actually eat is a different issue altogether.
Mon - Fri I have a bowl of cheerios, a banana and 3/4 cup of 1% milk
Sat and Sun I'll have scrambled eggs, 2 slices of whole wheat toast, can't believe it's not butter and and a teaspoon of strawberry jam and marmalade.0 -
One day I'll have an omelet with cheese, double fiber toast, applesauce, and decaf green tea with Splenda.
Next day I'll have GV Sugar Free Maple & Brown Sugar oatmeal, toast, applesauce, & tea.
Rarely do I eat breakfast out. If I'm on the run, I drink an Atkins milk chocolate shake, and take some green tea with me.
Cheerios with Splenda is good, too, if I don't want to eat hot stuff.
BTW, is it true that we should eat any cold food first (like fruit or yogurt), then drink something hot after a meal? I got an email fwd that says having something cold after a meal causes the fats to congeal in the hot foods we've already eaten. The fwd said that causes cancer??? I know....can't believe everything we read, can we? :sick:0 -
1 c. Multigrain Cheerios w/1/2 c. skim milk, 1 c. quartered strawberries and 1 med. banana sliced
Cinnamon Raison OR Blueberry Lenders Bagel with 2 tbsp. fat free strawberry cream cheese and 1 c. pineapple or canteloupe
AE YoLite Yogurt (any flavor) with 1 c. quartered strawberries and 10 raspberries and 3/4 c. Whole Grain Total cereal mixed in...yummy yogurt parfait!
Cinnamon Roll Instant Oatmeal with 1 med. banana
And...I always have 8 oz. Lite Juice with 1 multivitamin!!!:bigsmile:0 -
I do not love breakfast......
I do LOVE McSkillet Burritos though....yeah won't be splurging on those again for a while.
I typically eat the Hungry Girl Brownie muffins or cereal w/skim milk.
On weekends I try to do a "treat" breakfast....which consists of an omelett (one regular egg - 2 whites+low fat cheese), piece of wheat toast and orange juice if I have it around.0 -
During the week I have instant oatmeal because eat at work and on weekends I have cereal or I'll splurge and have turkey bacon, an egg and hashbrowns.0
-
mmmm granola and plain yogurt is soooo good!
I typically have some oatmeal or yogurt. Today I had Astro Probiotic Omega 3 BioBest yogurt (90 cals!) and then an apple about an hour later.
Someone on here mentioned in another thread recently that they have omelets -- 1 whole egg and 3 egg whites and then a cup of broccoli inside it... I totally had that for dinner last night just because of that posting! I'm so sorry, I forgot who suggested it, but YUM it was good (and good for me). Thanks for sharing with us!

I wish it was already Sut morning after a run!
Let me check - noooo, still Friday at work and need another hour to kill, daym!0 -
I have the same thing ALMOST every day:
1 slice of whole wheat bread or a wheat waffle with 2 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter.
Fruit
Coffee with creamer and stevia
Once in a while I will have eggs instead of my bread and peanut butter, but it's pretty rare...0
