How do I get fitbit to count stationary bike use?

You log the stationary bike separately. Even if it counts the pedal rotations close to correctly the effort and mechanics are different from walking or running.0

How do I get fitbit to count stationary bike use?
I find Fitbit's burns to be way more accurate than MFP's one-size-fits-all guesstimates. It will take trial & error to find which you prefer.
