I'm trying to get healthy and fit again but it is so hard!! My stomach is extremely wrinkled and saggy from having 3 beautiful babies but i have learned to love that. I just loathe the "love handles". Can someone give me some pointers, like do I need cardio or lifting, to reduce them

First step in reducing them is a healthy calorie deficit Best of luck0

Hey, great question. The secret to getting rid of those love handles is time and consistency. Eat at the calorie and macro goals that allow you to lose weight in a healthy way and work hard in your exercises 5-6 days/week, and they'll come off. Consistency really does win the day every time. For exercise, have variety. Throw in weight lifting, high intensity intervals, plyometrics, cardio, and yoga. It'll keep you from getting bored.

Hey I don't have weights at home and I have yet to find time for the gym despite having a ymca membership, so what can I do instead of weights to add to my regime to lose my handles? Isn't there any specific work outs for that region or are they all just bogus? I've been doing yoga, circuit training targeting all areas, and as much walking as possible. I'm only in about a week and a half so I know i probably won't see any benefits yet but I do feel slimmer and healthier already but I just feel nothing targets my side love handles.0 -

I have the same problem girl! I used to have bad love handles, then lost them by eating at a deficit and doing a combination of cardio and strength workouts. Then I got pregnant, and now my abs are gone and I have my big chubby sides back my actually BELLY is nice and flat again, I just look wide & too curvy. I have been doing P90X Ab Ripper X. It KILLS your abs and definitely whips you into shape. Id try that. Also, if you go to Pinterest.com you can "pin" some really awesome love handle/muffin top workouts.
^ Plus what that person said up there is very helpful too.... buy the correct size pants. Lol0 -
