They are similar to the ones I make, except the ones I make you add a cup of cottage cheese, but don't add any salt. They are good.0

Dave is the recipe exactly the same but with the addition of cottage cheese or are some of the other ingredients different--I am trying to find good low carb recipes! Also (and this may be a stupid question) is the oatmeal dry or cooked??
Thanks0 -

I make them w/ 1 cup dry oats, 1 cup fat free cottage cheese, 5 egg whites, vanilla extract (pure) and lots of cinnamon........just make sure you put the cottage cheese in the blender before the oats, they blend up much better. They are delicious with "Simply Fruit" spread or just some chopped berries on top0

Oats - Quaker Old Fashioned - Oatmeal , 1/2 cup dry
Eggs - Egg White, 3 egg white
Cottage cheese - Lowfat, 2% milkfat, 1/2 cup
cinamon- 1/2 tsp.
1 packet splenda
Blueberries - Frozen, unsweetened, 1/4 cup, unthawed
Maple Grove Farms - Sugar Free Maple Flavor Syrup, 1/4 cup
Total: 350 calories,47g carb ,5g fat ,33 g. protein
That's per serving the recipe is usually doubled to make two servings.0 -
Thank you for answering my questions I am looking forward to trying this recipe!!0

You're welcome. Remember to blend all the ingredients except the blueberries and syrup. You can also leave some out, like if you leave out the cinamon and berries they are like regular pancakes. I usually also spray a little butter spray on top too.0

I tried this today. I liked them but two things I would change - a) I added apple to mine. Deeelish! b) I would cut out the salt. I found them too salty.0
