I was having a self loathing moment on the phone recently.

I keep fluctuating between 156lbs-160lbs, I was upset at the number on the scale, I was uspet because I havent been able to get past 156 in months, I was upset because I felt like I would never see 140lbs again. So close, yet so far away.

UNTIL

My cousin said hold on, let me send you something. She dug deep down into her facebook gallery and pulled out the "before" picture. I didnt realize how far I had come until I seen this. I wanted to share, I'm still a work in process, A VERY SLOW PROGRESS. But progress is progress right?


Height 5'5ft

Starting Weight 210lbs (both of the pics on the left)

Current Weight 156lbs (both pics on the right)

Goal Weight 140lbs

    I know exactly how you feel - the scale keeps changing for me, and I can't see a difference even after 40 lbs! It's only when I compare old to new that I notice I've changed!

    Wow - first off, you look stunning! What an amazing transformation, and you have every reason to celebrate your success. Can I also say - how awesome of your cousin to encourage you when you needed it most?

    Soooo funny, too - I've been "stuck" at that same weight - 156 - for weeks now. I'll send you a friend request so if you're interested, we can continue to encourage each other past this plateau.
