It's been a long long time but...

:flowerforyou: ... I'm back.
Today is the first day of the rest of my life, or so they say. I am working on an 1800 calorie diet and 10 minutes of exercise 3 times a week. I plan on gradually building myself up to 30 minutes 3 times a week and then hopefully more. I have a lot of weight to lose... like at 'least' 100 pounds! *sigh* My health depends on it. I hope I don't give up again.

Good luck. I am just returning after a couple of years, too. Not got so much weight to lose as you but the journey is still as hard initially, I think! Just taken early retirement at 57 so no excuse for not exercising - difficult to resist eating snacks, though, as I am now at home much more. Good start to the exercise programme the past couple of days, not so good on the food side. I eat vast amounts of fruit, pretending that they count for nothing, but I know it is not fresh air. I want to lose 4-5 kilos over the next month which is maybe too ambitious, but we'll see. All the best - stick with it.
  • GOOD LUCK!

In back too after being off for awhile. I need to lose about 40 pounds to be in my target weight range. I just find it so hard to get motivated.

Hi, just getting back myself after being off for a while. I need to lose about 70 lbs and find it hard to exercise because breathing problems due to asthma and COPD. I would love to have a MFP friend for mutual motivation and encouragement.
