Quick Weight Loss

Hi, I am not going to eat for 2 days, and only drink water and exercise. I weigh 174lbs and am 5 foot 4, so how much weight/water weight will I lose?

A couple of pounds more or less for a few days, but you'll gain it all back as soon as you eat again. And it will be water weight and a little muscle lost. This is one situation where the turtle wins the race again. Healthy, steady, low fat, low calorie, lean proteins and green vegetables with a little fruit for nutrition and sweet cravings works in the long run. Though, I admit, I was reading the boards to find another way. Discipline just hasn't been my thing lately, but it does have the benefit of helping me sleep better, exercise better and smile a lot more. ... one day at a time and time to go work out.

you wont lose much over the course of 2 days... your much better off gradually cutting calories to make the loss last

You'll probably lose a couple pounds of water but you'll gain it back when you reintroduce food.

You actually would lose 1 pound or close of real weight (sadly not all of it from fat since you will be starving yourself), and you may even lose a couple pounds of water weight on top, which will come back as soon as you start eating again. When you start eating again you will be hungry and tired and may binge gaining back the real pound that you had lost. Not worth it IMO.

You'll lose a few pounds and a ton of respect from anyone with common sense.
