Hi everyone,
I’m 30, F, UK, 5’9”, 150lbs.
I’ve been MFPing sporadically for a year or two with no real commitment and have somehow managed to lose around 10lbs. I’d love to add a few friends for some support and to get some focus.
I think I’m a fairly healthy weight and BMI but the way I’m put together is increasingly wobbly and slow thanks to my near-daily treats of wine, pizza and choccy. I don’t like the way this is going…
While the scale isn’t too disastrous, the mirror says otherwise. I’m getting frustrated and upset when getting ready to go out, or even to go to work. Everything needs schlurping inwards and upwards!
Friends with advice, friends in similar situations, friends who can help point me in the right direction, friends who just like a gossip – all very welcome here!

I really want to know how you like your nachos.
I make my own using real cheese (not that cruddy fake cheese spread). Oven baked chips tomato, onion, jalopinos, green peppers, celatro and a little cracked black pepper. I limit the salt as it will make the veggies sweat out their moisture and make the chips soggy.
I figure if your going to indulge abit, do it right!
Hope this helped your nacho craving :-)0 -
I'm not overly strict with the diet either, want to be but not. I've been heavier than this and lighter than this, just looking to be a wee bit lighter and healthier for life. And I am not good at doing it alone either
And yes, I looooove nachos0 -
What's not love..cheese maybe some chili, jalapenos...uh yea0

Nothing wrong with nachos...and now I want nachos...
It says you have about 9 lbs you want to lose. You probably really want to look into body recomp. Start lifting. It'll help.
This is everything I've learned in 2 years.

It's about moderation not deprivation. There are no good/bad foods, only bad eating habits. Do or do not, there is no try. You have to want it, you have to work for it, you have to realize that only you can do it.

Pick up a barbell. You will not regret it.

Oh, and feed me.
All this. Yes, to the barbell. And here you go.

Lastly, when you pick up that barbell (and you will fall in love, trust me)...take your measurements and progress photos. Your body will hold onto water more when you start lifting, so you may not see the scale move, but your measurements and photos will. Just keep with it and you'll get there.0

I'll share. I also have a deep deep love of nachos0 -
Start making your own healthy version nachos..use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef.more veggies than cheese..buy only tortilla chips which are corn flour made NEVER enriched or unbleached..you can also make your own nachos in the oven using healthy tortilla shells..wheat flour again not enriched..or pita bread..I'm a big foodie!!!!!!
Been a struggle for me but im getting there! Slow changes in your house hold and ordering out!0 -

Will post it shortly lol. For Guacamole and different variants of the old classic go to Two peas and their pod!0

I didn't want nachos...then I came across this post. Now I'm craving nachos. Also in the past 5 days since logging my food, I've saved at least $50.0
