Back from my holiday...

So, I went to a festival last week and feel like I gained masses from alcohol.
After looking at the scale, there's maybe a 1 or 2 pound difference but I regularly fluctuate up to this level anyway.
The question is, should I go back to eating my maintenance calories, or eat under maintenance calories again for a week or so then get started on maintenance again?
Half of me feels if I go back to eating normally then I would be feeling back to normal soon without yoyoing. What do you guys do?

If I over indulge I always cut back a little for a while. It is so easy for those pounds to creep back on.0
