I'm back and motivated!

I started using MyFitnessPal in January 2012, when I weighed 150 lbs and wanted a change. I lost the few extra pounds, began eating healthy, and got into the habit of working out on a daily basis. It was awesome!
I stopped counting my calories last summer, for the sake of simplicity, because I began cooking for 2. A year later, I have gained a good 25 pounds, which is the most I have ever gained in a single year. Some of it is muscle, since I have been doing heavy weight training, but not all of it, oh, no... People have told me that counting calories is a bit excessive, but hey, it worked for me; otherwise I overeat without realizing just how much I do it.
So I'm back once again, determined that I can lose all of this weight. It worked the first time, which makes me even more motivated to do it again!
Good luck to everyone on their journey

You can do it! I gained weight when I started cooking for two people as well. It was so much easier to just make my own serving size of healthy meals previously! I definitely see the value in counting calories, otherwise it is way too easy to overeat. Just wanted to let you know that you are not alone
good luck on your journey!
