Hello, everyone. I am new to this website, but not new to trying to lose weight, sadly. But I'm hoping with MFP and having to actually look at my caloric intake and count calories (which I've never done before) I will have more success with losing weight and keeping it off. It is nice to meet you all.

Welcome. You'll find this site very useful and supportive (even though some folks -- me included -- may on occasion have an attack of obnoxious "smart mouth"). As you wonder around, you'll find people to send friend requests to and will build a network of supporters.0

Thank you! It's been useful so far! I'm really enjoying it and I think it gives me a better look on how to try to eat healthier, and I like that I can log my exercise activity, too! I think support is definitely a part of success (in some situations, at least). It helps keep the motivation going, which I sometimes severely lack, haha.0
