MFP Elliptical calories burned?

Hey folks. When I occasionally track my elliptical usage , it seems unusually high in terms of calories burned. Has anyone else noticed this?

  Yeah I noticed that today so I wore a heart rate monitor during my workout. But I usually use the calories from the actual elliptical itself.

  yes mine was high as well, but like the previous girl I just go off of my polar heart rate monitor. I just correct the entry when I log it in
