Bootcamp- I can't believe I like it!!

I hate gyms and hate working out. I don't mind exercise in general, but prefer to go bike riding or hiking. I signed up for a 6 week Bootcamp and I love it! It's fast paced, and our trainers are really nice...they don't push you past what you can do. There are people at all ages and levels, so I never feel intimidated. I have been going 3 times a week and am starting week 3. It's hard, but I feel so good about myself and really think this is something I can stay with!

I feel the same way! I just started the exact work out in FL. they are about 30 mins long and kick my butt. This is week 3 for me and am now going 4 to 5 times a week... I just have not lost ANY weight!! I am totally frustrated. I have a pretty healthy diet. I limit carbs, no sugar etc. urgg.hoping that will start losing inches soon.

I have been going three times a week and am starting week 3- ours is an hour long. I also have not lost weight, which surprises me because I know I'm not eating any more. I think I am building muscle and my body is adjusting to all the exercise. I don't want to get discouraged so am focusing on my increased energy and the knowledge that this IS good for me regardless of what the scale says.

I did bootcamp 5 days aweek an hour each day. I loved it too, the way ares what set up one day was upperbody more cardio then the next would be more strength then the same with lower body then fri was toatal body . Nothing was working getting my weight off and i finally lost 25 lbs in two years but completely transformed my body. The place i went closed two months ago and ive been going to the ymca now and do a hit 30 min. Class 3 days and do heavy lifting 5 days . Ive tried to find something like what i was doing but the cost is way more than i was paying. If you continuelly push yourself and stay out of your comfort zone youll see results ,but youll still have to eat at a deficit to lose weight.

Starting week four and though the scale isn't much different, I do feel myself getting stronger and more fit. I can do the class now without feeling like I'm going to faint or puke! I was hoping to see the pounds just melt away, but am not going to get discouraged.

Glad to hear your adjusting. Keep it up and keep your diet in check. At our age its just not gonna drop off and hey your getting stronger and thats a good thing. I got to the poinr before bootcamp that i was just happy not gaining.
