Newbie here :)

Hi y'all! First day here...

I recently quit smoking, been smoke free for 1.5 months now, and my weight went through the roof. Finally consulted a nutritionist and will be starting a cleanse, and after that a metabolic diet and exercise plan. Hope to find some good articles here and lots of support, since it is the first time in my 32 years that I decide to be a healthier me :)

xoxo

Congrats on the not smoking! I smoked for about 10 years. Went to a hypnotist and quit. That was at least 20 years ago. I put on alot of weight. I am doing WW and I want to lose at least 100 lbs. I can't blame the weight solely on quitting smoking. I have had 2 children and alot of surgeries plus i work from home. I wish you much success.

    Welcome Hennawolf!
My journey started almost a year ago after I had been smoke free for about a year. Look at smoking as you "stopped" because you are not a "quitter".
Stopping smoking was the first step I took for a healthier me.....my second step on my journey was weight loss. MFP, gym, nature, have all guided me on my journey and I have learned a tremendous amount along the way.
Feel free to add me if you like, I do log everyday however I am not always able to comment everyday due to work/school schedule.
Stay strong and remember that all journeys happen one day at a time and never give up.
