Kitchen basics?

We're currently having our kitchen done up and it's been such a struggle and an annoying time. It will be done soon but it will obviously mean that, apart from a few jars, condiments, dried things, tins etc., we're basically starting from rock bottom. I'm trying to look at this in a good way in that it means I can start having a kitchen geared towards eating healthy.
What would you guys recommend as healthy kitchen 'basics'? By that, I mean ingredients that are useful for many healthy recipes, healthy breakfasts, lunches, snacks etc.? There's often ingredients that I see on websites such as SkinnyTaste that I've never stocked before (e.g. quinoa?!)
Thanks!

Great lists. I would add:

Wholegrain breakfast cereal - for when you are in a hurry
Granola - if you don't want to make your own
0% fat Greek yoghurt
Dried yeast - for homemade pizza/bread0
