Humidity and water retention

Couldn't think of where else to put this so.....

We've been having a very unusual spell of humidity for the last week here in BC - 32C and humid (I know nothing like Ontario or the Southern US) and my body is no longer used to it. I had myself down to 183lbs last Tues through Thurs woke up Sat and was 185 again, have been everyday since. Definitely feel bloated - work in a warehouse with no air conditioning and no air conditioning at home. I have been drinking more fluids and I think my body is holding onto more of them.

I found this article which seems to suggest this may be so. Anyone else experience this?
