GYM ROUTINES

I am newbie to the gym. Until now I have done all my workouts outside or at home. I just got a job where there is a gym that shares the same parking lot of my job.... I look at the building all day. I have gone a few times but feel like I am making it up as I go and did not know if people had a routine that I could follow.

My goal are to lose 10lbs (already lost 80) then gained some back.... I want to tone up- probable areas being arms and stomach. I would like to have a routine like arm day, leg day, full body day but I am not sure what to do within those days. (Like machines to use and such)

Help please!

For starters. .. Congrats on the 80 lbs loss.
so your goal is to slim up and tone. From my experience, focus on weight training. Make sure you are using a weight that is challenging enough to cause you to struggle and hit failure by the tenth rep. Also make sure you are doing big compound movements. These will trigger more muscle growth and help the body scorch those last few stubborn pounds. Next don't go doing workouts that last 2 hours. Keep your weight training to a max of 1 hour. And as for cardio... on your lifting days keep it to around 10-20 minutes of high intensity cardio (HITT). OK I k ow your thinking that's alot. To find a program for you. Look on bbodybuildimg.com. they have a section for training and includes women's workouts. I hope all this helped.
