For the past 7 months I have been exercising weight lifting and cardio for between 1/2 hours a day for 4/5 days a week and eating 1800 calories or less a day along with less than 100 carbs. However, in my journey I have only lost 10 pounds. Research has shown me the average person can lose 1-2 pounds per week which means even on the lower end I should have lost 25-28 pounds.

The thing is when we finally decide to do something about our weight, we diet and get serious about exercising. When I started I wasn't very active and my muscle tone was getting pretty poor. After I got serious I noticed the same thing your experiencing. What happens is as we begin to exercise seriously we start building muscle as we are losing body fat. Don"t fret it to much because as you are basically exchanging one for the other. It won't be long and you will reach a point where muscle gain will slow and you will continue to lose the body fat. It'll happen.0
