Logging food...

I am getting quite the collection of foods/drinks I eat listed on the page of my food diary for "fast" reference. I have like 5 pages to scroll thru. Can I somehow type what I need and search thru just those foods to log to my day. Seems the only option to search takes you to the database of all user submitted food on MFP...

I find logging easier on my phone for most things. You can search only your frequents, your recipes, your foods, etc.

You can sort them by name if you want if that makes it easier.
Another thing I do if I have added an entry is put my initials in it
for example boiled chicken breast - per usda scw is in my list of foods and when I search the database the exact food with my initials...but that still brings up all my foods...
And if you click on food/my foods you can search just your foods.
I prefer to sort "my foods" or "recent" or "frequent" by name if I am looking for something and I can't remember how I saved it but have some idea of what it is...ie chicken0 -

Wish I COULD sort myfoods by name... but it's hasn't worked since I began July 2nd--Very frustrating website... to keep track of calories. I logged in 4 pages of MY foods but not only is my list of myfoods NOT sorted by name (no option to there) but when I go to food diary... myfoods are NOT sorted by name even though I do click on "sort" and select "by name". Getting eyestrain---trying to scan up & down to find my entires. I have written cust. svc twice; they say the same thing: they say they are aware of the problem and are trying to fix it... but I see this has been an issue for many, many months for others! Guess I'll have to go elsewhere - I can't wait around - I'm in a special 12 week wgt. loss program & turn in my diary every week, so this is not cutting it for me!0
