Kangaroo Chilli Con Carne

Ingredients
1kg kangaroo mince
2 onions
250g tomato paste
3 cans kidney beans
1 can 4 beans mix
3 cans diced tomatoes
100g almonds
1kg mixed vegetables
2 tspn garlic paste
chilli powder
cumin
coriander
oregano
Method
Cook onion in oil for 5mins until loose.
Add Kangaroo and leave for another 5mins. Break up mince.
Add spices and garlic paste and mix through.
When Kangaroo is looking browish add all the other ingredients. Set heat to low and leave to simmer for 20mins.

That sounds lovely, i wish I could get my hands on some roo, but being UK we don't get much of it around these parts. I've had kangaroo once, it was a burger, but was actually a chunk of meat rather than made from minced meat, it was very lean and tasty, like fillet steak. :-)0

yeah, it's just like steak but very lean as you said. It has a gamey taste and a different smell when cooking but as soon as you herb/spice it up it's all good
Can replace with lean regular mince also obviously.

I'm a hunter and I have a freezer full of deer meat. I make an excellent venison chili. Its also nice lean meat.0
