Diet pills are all bollocks , 9x out of 10 anyone attempting to use them is desperate for a shortcut. There is no shortcut short of drastic surgery , these pills are all gimmicks and all crap! The £20 you spend on them is better spend on buying a leather ledger a fancy pen and writing down all your issues and mapping out a healthy lifestyle plan you can stick to.

I am to scared to take them. The last one, I took, was about 10 years ago. Xenadrine, which almost killed me. Never again diet pills.

Prescription diet drugs are to be used in combination with a healthy lifestyle. That being said, if you are living a healthy lifestyle then you should not need them.

I would never use an over the counter diet pill as they are not regulated and there is no telling what is really in them and what harm it might really bring.

I take MTS drop factor and Yohimbone before any cardio, but the goal I believe is to help keep your heart rate up, nothing magically burns fat, I just take them for the extra intensity.

That's being judgemental. I think it's safe to say if you have a lot of weight to lose you are desperate! I am not currently using any diet pills but did use Adipex 2 years ago to jump start my weight loss of 60 lbs. It made me disinterested in food so I ate for nutrition. Once I got going I stopped taking it (maybe 2 months). The thing I hated about it was it causes severe constipation.

Yes, I gained the weight back but not because of the lack of pills, because I got busy with my new photography business and snowballed my way into bad choices again. I recently restarted my "diet" but chose to do it on my own, knowing it would be hard to resist cravings the first 2 weeks but have been successful because I know it works and what lies ahead :-)

Diet pills aren't meant for long term use. They are to kick start and help you get on the right path. Just my two cents.

Changing your lifestyle (eating habits) is the key. No diet pill will give you the intructions for that.

As a pharmacist, the fact is, they work only short term and when you stop taking them 99% of the people gain it back. Much smarter to make long term lifestyle changes "eat right and exercise".
