Question about lasagna

I am an excellent cook and make a mean lasagna.
My question is... should I assemble the lasagna now and cook it tonight? Or prepare and cook it now, cool and reheat it later? I have never done either of these, always just preparing it and cooking it all at once.I know everyone says lasagna is way better recooked anyway.

Either way will work. If you do assemble it now, just make sure to refrigerate it until you are ready to cook it. If I were planning to serve it to guests, I'd cook it later so it's at that "hot from the oven" consistency. If it was just for me, I'd cook it now and use the microwave to reheat individual servings. These are likely to be a bit denser than the straight-from-the-oven ones. I wouldn't cook it now and then try to reheat the whole thing in the oven because it might just get dried out and chewy.

my intention was to assemble it all now to get the prep work done. refrigerate. and cook in when my bf comes over later. so i think i will do just that! i just wasn't sure if the noodles would get soggy or runny or whatever if the prep was done too early.

Every time I prep mine in advance it seems... dry. I've started using extra sauce to try to combat this.

GREAT IDEA. The sauce is the best part anyhow.
