Hey I was just wanting to know if it normal to bruise after working out. I'm not hitting myself of falling. But I have been getting these weird muscle cramps where my ankles and knees lock during my workout. Then a couple days later I have huge huge black bruising right above the same area. And now of course they hurt worse than before. is this normal? please say someone else has this happen too.

If you're not bruising from impact then it sounds like you really need to see your doctor0

Only time I ever had that happen was when I over did something and had a slight tear without noticing at first...0

Do you take any medication? Cold medication, Advil, Tylenol, aspirin? It is not normal to bruise like that. Go to the doctor. He can order some simple blood tests to screen for platelet and blood abnormalities than can cause this.
Hematomas can be caused by many things. Undiagnosed , some of these problems can be dangerous.0 -
lol I go back to work in a surgery center in like a week .but I dont take any thing other than biotin and a vit d shot monthly . but ill call my teddy and figure out what he wants me to do thanks I was Thinking I might have torn some. but I just don't Think I should be that fazed by working out( at least that badly ). Or that my muscles suck that bad! but I know I have normal blood work other than hbp. I take my blood every month so there is nothing going on there. hmmmm0

Good for you.....I have been in hospital lab science for 38 years with a specialty in hematology. Any bruising like that should be a concern but it sounds like you only need to worry when you work out. That's something I have not heard of before.0

But any way have you ever heard the .005% rule. its kinda a joke my md and I have..oo5 %of the population could have other side effects ... in other words me! I always come down with every thing strange.. I cant even show a positive pregnancy test .. like ever even blood tests ...0
