5'7 18 year old male, 180lbs
So i have been at it for 30 days (feel free to check diary). And i started out getting close to my recommended macros and started to lose weight. I've been eating 1500 a day and exercising 5 times a week which burned 300-500 cals each time (i don't log exercise), but all of the exercise should in theory cancel out my 'cheat days'..
I was losing weight for sure, but i have had 4-5 cheat days (not by choice, accident) and gained back about 8 pounds..
Well anyway for the last week or so, i didn't care about my carb intake as much. but i hit the 1500 and haven't seen any progress..Is that because of too many carbs in the day?
Should i lower carbs? Lower calories? Increase calories?

You mean like diabetes? Yes it's a thing.0

That calorie intake seems too low. You should be netting around 2000. If you exercise you need to eat those calories back. Research BMR and TDEE.

Carb sensitivity is a thing and doesn't always mean someone is diabetic to be sensitive to carbs.0

You need to develop a better grip on tracking your calories and exercises before making any changes. Your 4-5 "(not by choice, accident)" cheat days and not tracking exercise calories are the problems. I am an IT geek and strongly believe in the GIGO (garbage in, garbage out) theory in terms of data. If you are not properly tracking then how would you know to trust the output of what you are doing? Try accurately tracking all of your activities for about a month then made changes as needed. This is one of the more appropriate means to decide if your current plan is working.0
