1 - I haven't been out boating since last summer, about a year ago, and have only been serious about losing weight since the end of last year, so I expected to have to adjust my life jacket straps, but it was surprising how loose it had become on me!
2 - Climbing up the ladder from the boat to the dock, usually I've had to twist sideways to get my hips through. Now it's barely a squeeze at all, didn't have to twist.
3 - Walking from the CG station back to where I parked the car, I wasn't winded, and in fact had to go a lot slower because of another crew person who is very overweight and pokey. I was strolling along easily, holding a conversation, and she was working hard to keep up.
4 - Yesterday afternoon I walked 3.2 miles round trip to a coffee shop to meet someone (who was a no-show, but I kinda expected it so wasn't terribly annoyed) and other than realizing I should not have worn sandals I had no trouble with it. Wasn't winded, barely sweating, no doubt that I could do it easily.
ETA: 5 - Looking at how my most-worn bra is fitting in the cups, I think a bra-shopping trip might be in order. Not my favorite thing to do, but it's probably necessary.
All these are nice, because in the last 2 weeks I've barely lost 1.5 lb, which is discouraging. (Although looking back at the 30-day graph, it's a smidge under 5 lb lost, which is acceptable, so maybe I should stop stressing so much.) :grumble:

5lbs lost acceptable. You are amazing. Not only are you seeing NSV's throughout your life the pounds are coming off with time which is the way you want it to happen. Slow and steady. You are doing great keep up the amazing job. It's the small things that really matter because in the end the lead to one big victory---health0

Awesome! I was at the beach yesterday and noticed that I didn't have a rash from my legs rubbing together and I wasn't winded carrying all of the stuff back and forth to the car! I totally relate to your post! Keep up the good work!!0
