Hi Everyone...

My name is Lisa. I am a constant work in progress.

My sister lost over 100 pounds using this app and I thought I would give it a try. I find that if I track and am held accountable for what I eat, I am more successful.

In the past I have been able to eat well, but couldn't get into the swing of working out or I would workout and not eat well. I feel like I have this under control now. For the last month I have been working out everyday and tracking everything I eat. So far, I have lost 5 pounds.

I am looking for others to interact with to keep my motivation going. I post many food pics on Instagram at http://instagram.com/ch1ckpea.

Good luck to all :)...you can do it!

I like the fact that you want to build muscle. That by far is the way to go...:)

Thanks, gnzisg. It took me time to get the two in sync...the working out and eating right. I really enjoy the gym. I think I'm hooked! LOL

I too have developed an addiction to the gym....and I am the last person that thought that could happen...I added strength training two weeks ago and love it!! I love this site and have had more success here than with any other weight loss program I have tried.

Oh I know, rondag1!!! I do about 15 to 20 minutes of cardio to warm my muscles and hit the machines. I never thought I would like them. They used to intimidate me! Now, I LOVE them and get wait to get to the gym.

u have to do both. U cant out train a bad diet. But with that being said...strength training is the way to go. You'll transform and re sculpt, while building an athletic body.

Dont give up and use ur motivations to fuel ur workouts :)

its just the beginning...you haven't even began to hit ur potential. Be sure to fuel ur body with lean proteins during the process so you can rebuild all them muscles ur breaking down while lifting!!!

Hey! I'm still in the process of losing weight as well. I had Gastric Sleeve Surgery last year, so I am now 1-year post-op and I've lost almost 200 pounds so far. I am still losing weight, but it is hard to maintain my weight. I know exercising and eating a healthy diet are the main keys. However, protein is the most important part of our health.

If you keep in touch, I might get some pointers on how I have lost weight so far. I hope you will achieve your goals and reach your dreams as far as you can.
