I've battled with my bulge for forever. I lost with WW and little exercise and gained it all back. I've gone to the gym and watched what I ate and lost nothing. The only thing that I have found that has worked for me is finding an exercise program that I like that I can stick with and that includes cardio AND strength training. For me, that's been P90X and now ChaLEAN Extreme. I also love that they come with nutrition guides to get you through the program. It's all inclusive. Exercise accounts for less than half of your results though, so your nutrition has to be spot on. Little treats here and there are ok, but you have to make the conscious effort to change your eating and get rid of the junk in your diet.

My advice is to track EVERYTHING you eat/drink, stay within the recommendations MFP sets for you, drink half your weight in ounces of water per day, and exercise, exercise, exercise...

I have lost (almost) 60lbs in 7-8 months and I feel incredible. I would also recommend taking your measurements every 3 weeks since there will be times that you may not lose any weight but for me that's okay as long as I'm losing something :) You also might want to set some mini goals to help keep you motivated.

    Good luck!

Hi there, I have lost 50 pounds in six months. The best advice I can give you is:

    - KEEP GOING, even if you have a bad day
    - drink plenty, plenty, plenty of water (at least eight 8 ounces of water)
    - be honest with yourself; don't just GUESS how many calories you are intaking, educate yourself, measure your food, and avoid processed and sodium filled foods
    - exercise 4-5 days a week for at least 45 minutes (Do 3 days of cardio and 2 days of strength training, try new things, mix it up, do a free trial at a gym, find a workout buddy, HAVE FUN!)
    - LOG, LOG, LOG your good days, great days, horrible days, dessert days...LOG IT!

Message me if you have any questions!

Sure you're not undereating? Your body could be in starvation mode. What about the zig-zag diet method? Eat 20% more one day, 20% less the next, eat regular for a few days and repeat. What about mixing up your exercise? That always seems to get me out of a rut.

the one an only thing I can tell you. Aside from what others have said, Log log log and exercise exercise exercise. More importantly is commitment and consistency. Stay consistent and make it a habit.

Consistency and commitment is as important or more important than exercise.

stay the hell away from processed foods if you need to lose more rapidly...............fruits, vegetables, water, pinto beans and use chicken breast for your protien..........I lost 120 lbs in one year, and never had major problems

its the right and healthy approach according to WW........I wasnt a member, but found an old journal I had from one of their meeting that I went to about 10 years ago, and followed it, as well as they said not to lose more than 2.5 pounds a week, in which I did........

processed food is not your friend................its loaded with sodium and sugars, trust me, try eating clean and tons of fiber

also, I did join a gym, and that really helps get rid of the inches..........Lloyd
